More than 1.2 million Australian construction workers will be asked for their feedback on the newly proposed workplace Culture Standard guidelines, focused on improving mental health and wellbeing in the sector.
The initiative is being driven by the Construction Industry Culture Taskforce (CICT), a working group formed by the Australian Constructors Association in 2018 to address major issues in the industry – including excessive work hours, poor mental health, and a failure to attract a diverse workforce.
