CICT chairwoman and Infrastructure Australia director Gabrielle Trainor spoke with ABC Sydney’s Drive program earlier this week to discuss the wide range of impacts cultural issues in the construction industry are having on the lives of workers, and on our capacity to deliver critical public infrastructure.
Ms Trainor told host Richard Glover about the CICT’s proposed tools to achieve cultural change, including better mental health support, diversity targets, reducing the gender pay gap, more flexible work hours and health programming.
